We typically present events quarterly, such as:

“Donation after circulatory death: Primer for the Palliative Care Practitioner” was presented by Alan Chiu, M.D., from UT Southwestern and Parkland Health, and Derek Chui, D.O., from Baylor Scott & White Health. They focused on organ donation, its foundations, procedures, ethical issues, and the role of palliative care practitioners.

“Buprenorphine for Pain” was presented by Shamekia Wells, MSN, ACACNP-BC, ACHPN, and Eden Mae Rodriguez, Pharm.D., BCPS, from UT Southwestern; and Sina Najafi, D.O., from Baylor Scott & White Health.

"Creating a safe space for our LGBTQ+ patients and staff" was presented by Noelle Marie Javier, M.D., associate professor with the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, NY.
